WORSHIP & FELLOWSHIP
Wednesday Evening Prayer
Worship is at the heart of what our congregation does together. Before Sunday morning service, we offer a fellowship and Sunday School hour to strengthen our bond with one another in Christ's family. Sunday School classes are offered for pre-K through adult.
Every Wednesday night we host Evening Prayer, offering a mid-week opportunity to sing, pray and meet together as disciples of Christ. Following Evening Prayer is the Scripture and Fellowship Gathering, a time dedicated to growing in our knowledge of the Word and fellowship with one another. Using materials from the Bible Project, we read through Scripture throughout the week and gather to discuss and study the material together.
Service Structure and Beliefs
We believe that worship is at the heart of our relationship with God, therefore we gather together for weekly worship and distribution of communion where Christ is truly present. Worship is Grace is:
Our worship follows an ancient pattern which features responsive ritual and prayer. It engages all the senses, and is rich in symbolism, tradition, and meaning.
The Word of God (Bible) is explained in a fresh, engaging style that is understandable and practical as it relates to daily life.
Sacraments are a visible means by which God speaks to us. The water of baptism and the bread and wine of communion are ways that God reveals God. Through sacraments, God frees us from sin, strengthens our faith, claims us as His own children and assures us of eternal life.
From classic hymns to contemporary praise songs, quality music and singing are used to glorify God. A variety of instruments and choirs often lead us in praise.
